I will do my best to recount my son Luke's experiences of Easter dresses. As a punishment for his behaviour I had told him he'd be wearing an Easter dress on Easter Sunday. I'd hung it in his bedroom the week before as a reminder of his fate. I'd also told him that if his behaviour improved in that week then he would be permitted to wear panties under his dress, but if he continued to misbehave and/or be disobedient then I would put him back into nappies and a pair of his baby knickers. On Easter Sunday morning he was desperate to be allowed his panties, even going so far as to put a pair on without being told to when I went into his bedroom after he'd had his shower. But he didn't deserve panties. He deserved nappies, and, after a spanking across my lap (I was kind and allowed him to keep his panties on for his spanking) I ordered him to strip naked and lie on his bed. I chose terry nappies for him, rather than disposables. I think they're more babyish and therefore more suitable as a punishment. The baby knickers I chose for him were pink with white frills, to match his dress. He often cries when I put him back into nappies; he finds the whole thing just so embarrassing, and this was no exception. Things got worse when I slipped his dress over his head. It had been a little while since I'd made him wear it and he must have grown a bit. It still fit him round the chest and waist, but it was a good few inches shorter than I remembered. The result was that his padded frilly knickers were actually visible below the hem of his dress. He complained bitterly, but I told him he'd just have to be careful when he sat or bent down. He had a miserable day, compounded when I wouldn't let him go to the toilet, thus forcing him to wet his nappy. I even made him wait for half an hour or so before changing him. I kept him in nappies overnight, and the following day, partly as a result of a suggestion from Chris ("the Radical Feminist") I decided to keep him in girls' clothes. At first he was grateful simply to not have to have a nappy and baby knickers on any more, but as the week has gone on he's been whining about having to wear panties and skirts. Still, at least it seems to have stopped him misbehaving. He's not been out playing up with his mates all week. I'm waiting to see how long it is before he realises that he's got tickets to go and see his football team tomorrow, but that I've told him he'll be wearing girls' clothes until he goes back to school.
