Hi Sophie. Cry me a river. You are right. Teen girls get it a lot more than boys do. And 20 something girls get it a lot more than 20 something boys do.
Even Moms and Grandma's get spanked.
As one of my Mom friends put it,
"God made girls to be spanked."

I don't have any personal experience on this. It was just my sister and I growing up, we have no brothers. I do however know several girls from our church who were still spanked well into teenage years whose brothers were not spanked anymore. It's not like it was an official policy or anything like that but I think the parents would discuss things like this at meetings or other functions. I do think that when kids are younger, boys are spanked more often than girls are but as time passed, girls were spanked much more often than boys once kids reached the pre-teen years.
