There are so many posts on line about modesty when you are spanked. That made me think.

My knickers always came down and honestly it was the least of my worries. It was just me and dad and waaah

But how much allowance should a parent make if it really bothers a girl?

I said before about a girl who was allowed to change into a spanking skirt that preserved her modesty once she stood up.

But by the same argument why not let us change into a thong. Pausing to giggle as I imagine my brothers in a thong.

What allowance should parents make?

LOL now why couldn't I leave out the bit that hurts.

Even though I was spanked naked, modesty was not a big issue. I was much more concerned about the fire that going to be ignited in my butt while I was waiting for the spanking to begin. Once it began, modesty was the last thing on my mind.

The only time it became an issue was that moment when I was dancing around before I was led to the corner that I realized what a show I was putting on bouncing around.

It wasn't a big issue until we grew older. Then it became a bigger incentive to behave than the sting of the spanking. If you didn't want to have to show it all, you behaved. In my family spankings where given in privacy in the kitchen.
During the lecture mom took my jeans and underwear down.
From a young age until I left home it was always given that way.
I never thought about other possibility’s.

Perhaps naive, but getting bared was just a part of it like going over the knee.
My underlying was so normal, mom saw it often, I never thought of modesty.
Like Laura was saying I had other worries.
I knew what that hairbrush in her lap was going to do to my bottom.

I will say I agree with Marcey. I don't think spankings work on teenagers without the embarrassment. My girls HATE the way they're spanked. That's why they're spanked that way.
On the bare or NAKED. If my girls asked me afterwards why naked? "Why would i let you keep your top on you [did the behavior that led to the spanking]"
In the living room sometimes in front of guests.
Wearing a thong. That's ok. It's coming down for a spanking.
Covering up. If those hands aren't out the way it is worse.

When it comes to the pain making modesty a moot point. That's what corner time is for. In the living room. Feet not together. On display. 45 minutes (30-60 for my girls). It's a punishment for a reason.

I have a partner now but I am a widower and do the discipline. Guests who aren't opposed to spanking. Generally close friends or extended family. My neighbor is a close family friend, I call him my brother. Lately two of my nephews have been hanging out with his friend next door and I will actually ask them "Do you want to see [daughter who's getting spanked] get a spanking?" and they don't mind witnessing. That's the easiest way to be honest because they'll pop in and it only takes someone watching to have the desired effect.

Hi Louise,

I certainly didn't like it, but it never occurred to me there was any other way. It was only when I looked at sites like this that it occurred to me that a girl could be spanked over her underwear.
I'm sure dad did what he thought was best for me and didn't embarrass me more than he felt was necessary to get the job done.
It was always undressed enough to bare my bottom and ouch.

As a college student as is my brother also we are still spanked as long as we live under mom's roof, and she is supporting us. There is no modesty in our house. Mom feels that watching each other's spanking OTK with hand and paddle is good for both of us. It is embarrassing for both of us especially when she feels we both will be spanked together.
