Back in the 60's many professional athletes smoked. I am not naive; smoking probably does have some impact on aerobic but I think a lot is negated by staying in shape.

Why are Reds stronger? The main way the tobacco companies make a cig stronger/weaker is air. If you look at the filter of a Parliament you will almost certainly see little pinholes along the bottom of the filter. Meaning each drag is smoke plus air though those holes. Another way they do this is packing the tobacco less tightly so again you can draw more air.

She will need to smoke more. And more. The curse of any addiction is that it takes more and more of the drug to get the same effect. You smoke more often, drag more often, drag harder, stronger cigarette, or some combination of all of these

Certainly it is better for the heart and lungs not to smoke but that train has left the station. And she did start late

Are you tempted at all to try smoking yourself?
