Hi Friends,

Now that it has likely been a couple of weeks or more for most of us since school has returned, how has discipline gone for you with your kids? Any spike in spankings?

It has been rough here, however I firmly believe I am handling the issues the most appropriate way.

I started preparing my boys for the school night routine more than a week in advance, going to bed a bit earlier and following the typical routine of baths and showers. I would say that it went fair at that point. There were some threats of a spanking, some very solid swats to their bottoms and a couple of full blown spankings.

Since school has started, both boys complained about having to start getting ready for bed earlier than they wanted to. For the most part I held firm, however a couple of times I gave them each a a bit of leeway and extended the time a bit, however both times I regretted in the morning, and they did to...

This past Sunday night, almost a week ago, was the worst. Both boys were borderline or fully uncooperative, even after firm warning the nights before. Finally mid-way through the bedtime routine Sunday night, I knew I would be spanking. I did not initially tell them I would be spanking, but I told them I would be meeting them in their rooms when they were out of the shower and ready for bed.

When I knew they were finally out of the shower, I went into my youngest boys room (he is 14) and told him I had enough of his stall tactics, complaining and not keeping his word about cooperating. He saw my hairbrush in my hand and quickly started making all kinds of promises. I told him it was too late for that. By this time I was sitting on his bed and had him standing in front of me. I lowered his pajama bottoms to the floor and removed his t-shirt, guided him over my lap and very soundly spanked his bottom with hand and hairbrush. Because there had been warnings leading up to this, it was what I would call a serious spanking. His butt was very red when I was done. I hugged him and then went to my oldest sons room.

My oldest obviously heard what happened to his brother and knew what was coming, especially when he saw my brush. We had the same talk with him in front of me while I was seated on his bed. Being a warm night, he was just wearing an oversized t-shirt. I lifted it over his head and guided his naked body over my lap. My hand and brush really sizzled his behind. Being older, he truly knew better, so his bottom really paid the price.

After the spanking, I went back and got my youngest and brought the two boys together. I reinforced my love for them, but that they gave me no choice with how the bedtime routine had been going. I hugged and cuddled both of them and told them that if this past week did not go better, it would be addressed the same way, although much quicker.

The next morning when they got up, I did take a peak at each of their bottoms, especially since they had been very sound or even serious spankings. Their bottoms were fine, however still a bit of color from how well the hairbrush performed its task. Although the worst of the spanking feel had passed, I am sure they felt it a bit when sitting down through the day.

They were both much better from that point. I am writing this on Saturday night. It will be interesting to see how it goes for my boys and I tomorrow night. As of now, I am planning to not hesitate to spank again, if necessary.

How has the return to school gone for some of you? Have you had to give some warnings or spankings?
