Well hon, I do spank my kids when it's needed, which fortunately isn't very often. When I do, it's usually over my knee on the bare butt. As far as spanking other people's children goes. I have spanked my brother and sister's children on a couple of occasions, just the same as I do mine. I've also spanked a couple of my children's friends along with my kids when needed. But only if I had permission of their parents. The only time I ever spanked one before I had permission to do so was my youngest son's friend. They were playing in a creek that was posted because of flash flooding after the storms we had here a few weeks ago. Seeing them in waist high rushing water, scared the living hell out of me. Then when I yelled for them to get out, my son slipped and went under. I kicked off my shoes and ran in after them, dragging them both out. I blistered both their bare little butts right there beside the creek. The other boy's Momma saw everything and instead of being angry with me for spanking her son, she thanked me instead. She and I have become good friends now.

As far as grandkids go... I'm not there yet. My oldest is only thirteen and I'm not ready to be a grandma.
