I'm not criticising any other mother's decisions, but one of the reasons I stopped spanking Jack when he was 12 was that I feared that spanking him after he had reached puberty would be too embarrassing for both of us.

By the time he was 11 and 12, he didn't like Mum seeing his front after she had taken his pyjamas trousers down, but that just encouraged him to go over my lap and expose the part of his anatomy that I was going to be interested in for the next few minutes - his bottom.

And after the spanking, if they have been properly spanked, modesty is the last thing they worry about. Mum sees everything and it doesn't matter.
