Thank you for the opportunity to talk about this, no I would not change a thing. Our upbringing made me the woman, wife and mom I am. We (2 brothers and 2 sisters) raised with spankings exactly how I spank today, over the lap on a bare bottom with my hand and brush. Dad did not spank.

Mom was a loving, caring mom and strict disciplinarian, she would not think twice about spanking us, we also had a lot of fun with mom growing up, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas are always a special time but she would spank on those days if needed. She started spanking us when we were 3 as I did with the hand. At 6 she added a wood spoon to her hand spankings and for the girls when we turned 8 she replaced the spoon with her wood hairbrush for the boys it was just shy of 8, they were 7, she said the boys needed it sooner. She was correct.

As I said I am the same as our mom. :)
