With our 3 children, Julie is 13 Brian 11 and James is 8, I give long hard fast hand spanks, then I slow down the brush's part in the spanking process and of course not as hard as I spank with my hand but just as long.

The shades of and intensity of the redness and markings from my hand and brush will be determined by why I am spanking.
