When M'telle simply removes his shirt, R'ven blinks at him, then smiles, his broad shoulders and muscular chest shaking in neccessarily silent laughter. He doesn't mind in the least; the greenrider is a little vain about his strength, and this does put it to better display. His smile softens a bit as he sees Harilath begin to tussle with the shirt. Hatchlings are adorable, something he forgets, since he rarely sees them between the Hatching and the beginning of the dreaded weyrling training. R'ven sits patiently through the bandaging of his shoulder, watching M'telle with a combination of amusement and keen interest, and biting back another spate of silent laughter at the crooning question. When the young bluerider is finished, he reaches up and fingers the bandages experimentally, then nods to M'telle. I need a slate, he decides absently, debating whether to haul out hide and pen again. It will be hard to find the stone and the chalk, but maybe I'll be lucky and Headwoman Gisella will have one pre-made. Choosing to depend on body language for the moment, he grins encouragingly at the bluerider, in gratitude and approval, and glances over at Harilath to check on the state of his shirt. He's not in too much of a hurry to get it back on, though, and the next look he sends M'telle is of tender amusement, directed at the dragon, something a silent compliment and comment. Expressive as he's learned to be, he still can only hope that it will be interpreted for what it is - or rather, for what he intends it to be, because he doesn't want to let it be shown too blatantly that this is a delaying tactic.

In the back of his mind, he's been blocking out Kree's flight as well as he can, though he can't say he's entirely unaffected by the little green's emotions. They're stronger than he'd expected from her, with her oddness and her seeming inability to comprehend things that most greens would normally understand instinctually, especially things sexual in nature. Massath's flights have always baffled and distressed her. Now, though, she seems to have chosen a male, and with such intensity of emotion that he can't block it entirely. R'ven stiffens, trembling for a moment, and then relaxes as the spike fades. He hears Massath whispering to her, distantly, instructions on nest-building and egg arrangement, as she calms and returns to her normal baffled state. /Kree-/ he begins, but is cut off.

I have her, R'ven. Don't fuss over her, worry about your young man, Massath insists with amused indulgence.

Soothing Vey and Athena, equally aware of their little sister's fevered thoughts, R'ven smiles apologetically at M'telle, gesturing at the empty air above the shoulder where Kree had been perching before her explosive exit.
