Yesterday I bought autumn shoes ... for myself. For my daughter Rita, approaching 2 years and walking steadily, more and more every day, I got wool legwarmers keeping her cozy from thighs to ankles, her feet are still free and bare. Whether in the buggy or walking around, she did fine when we went out on a chilly morning and after a while her feet were actually warm to the touch so I plan to keep her barefoot for now. We're going out every day and she's doing wonderfully adapting to falling temperatures, I'm still accompanying her barefoot in our garden but when we go out longer I'm wearing my shoes next to her bare feet.
