[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: It doesn't matter who's judging- the fact is Community Service is no longer a critical factor for winning as with 2.0 & prior. It's not part of the onstage competition anymore and there are no points awarded for it. For girls who bring that to the table, great. The judges will note it & it may be reflected in comps if they make it to Top 10 or the difference maker for Final Ballot, but if she's counting on strong CS to give her the win, she (and you) are not dealing in the current reality of the MAO.

Look at who's won in other states so far-- Robin wants glamour, not SJWs.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: So if community service doesn’t matter at all what will they discuss in interview….How to do a French braid? Just because it’s not a part of the onstage competition doesn’t mean it’s less important. Service is one of the points of the crown for a reason. Also glamour and community involvement are not exclusive. But you know, keep perpetuating that idea of pageants.
[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: I did not say "community service doesn’t matter at all", rather "Community Service is no longer a critical factor for winning". I also didn't argue that "glamour and community involvement are (mutually) exclusive", rather "with the return to fitness, girls working their platforms isn't a significant consideration anymore." Stop twisting my words. Arguing against what I DIDN'T say creates the false impression that these are my positions (they're not) and that you have proven my arguments false (you didn't). Finally, "Just because it’s not a part of the onstage competition doesn’t mean (CS is) less important." Uh, that's EXACTLY what it means. They took a scored part of competition and eliminated it. There was a CSI/ted talk competition for points, now there is not.

You can insist that CS is super important, but don't be upset when reality hits on Sat

You are completely mistaken- there is an opening statement that must be about CSI required at the beginning of interview. Also- the on stage question during prelims is required to be about CSI so it is part of the on stage competition. It’s definitely still an important part of the score.
[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: OK, so why don't you explain it to me. How many points can a contestant get for Community Service? Didn't Robin eliminate the scored Community Service Ted-talks? Did I miss a competition last night?? Are we still MA 2.0?
[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Read my whole message next time. I already explained this- there is a 30 second CSI pitch required at the beginning of every private interview, every preliminary osq is required to be about the contestants CSI AND after the first week of State competitions Robin told the state ED’s that she missed pitch. She required them to add a descriptive CSI sentence to the osq intro’s and it’s looking likely that she will bring it back next year
