Get your husband on board with this, start with the older boy to set an example. At the first sign of disobedience or behaviour you don't like punish it. The first time you spank it will shock him but he will learn.

You say you have 3 weeks, you will want to do this as much as possible early on and ease off as he gets nearer to going his mom. How much custody do you have, are we talking only weekends, because this type of behaviour modification isn't suited for short term care.

Are you giving them too much privacy?
