Frenchie, I was talking me running motor and u run the juice.
A drag race has two main parts the start and the end. U have to be able to do well on both ends of the track. A big mph is nice on the big end, but to no avail if u get cut on the tree. I do have a delay box but the delay box has no effect on a pro tree type race. Running a sportsman tree is a different story.
Don't understand ur wanting to run a et to et race on the juice? If my car ran same et as urs and I shut down at the 1000' mark, don't u think the ole goat has "alot" of wheaties left?
I thought it would be interesting if u run ur "street nos tune" to ole goats "outdated engine design" running motor. Oh yeah, I only run 3.73 gears in the ole goat simliar to ur gear, tire ratio. May take u up on the street ride deal as I have driven the ole goat on the street and is not a trailer ride only.
No melt down on the ole 389 thanks to a safety low pressure switch. U talk about low compression in the X, I will challenge U to a low cranking pressure contest in the ole 389 to ur mountian motor. U game?
