Jim,
I know a month has passed since your post for Mitch. Any believer that has stood watch over a loved one in hospice, will understand the long days or nights standing, setting, pacing, praying...giving comfort to family... and the privilege talking with the one in hospice...listening mostly...and then the long-silence when end is near. Prayer does work, and all would pray for the miracle of restoring him to health... though we also understand what hospice is, and our prayers are that the Lord’s Will, be done. When our time comes, that is the prayer most would really hope is prayed...trusting in His Will...and giving thanks for the privilege to stand the last watch with a brother until he is welcomed home...and remembering to pray for his family.
