I think it would be wise to postpone this year's reunion. I really want to go to Colorado Springs because Jim and Angie Costello (Nha Trang) and two of my granddaughters live there. But, we just don't know how long the coronavirus will be around, nor if there will be a bounce back of the virus this fall. I think a lot of members are of the same mind and will not attend because of that possibility anyway. Since making all the arrangements for a reunion is a tremendous amount of work, it would be a shame if only a small number of people decided to attend. Additionally, if plans for the reunion are made and the virus does have a bounce back in the fall, the sponsoring unit at the base may decide to cancel us out at the last minute. Not a good scenario. Having said all that, my greatest concern is for the wellbeing of the members and their wives. Having a reunion isn't worth the life of one of my brothers or sisters.
