She murmurs quietly "Aye, she belongs to no-one, but how I wish we were bonded..." She glances quickly at Maeko, hoping she had not been heard. "Why do I like her?" Zaniel shrugs, her attention turned back to massaging the chirr's head, scratching too, with her nimble fingers. "Well, when I first saw her, she caught my eye, and she seems to have the traits that I developped because of-" Her voice falters slightly and cracks, not wanting to remember. "-what happened." She watches as the chirr plays with Maeko, removing her hand so as not to interfere with the play. When Maeko encourages her to play as well, she happily grabs the ball the chirr had been playing with earlier, and, her face nearly splitting with her smile, and rolls her ball at the chirr. She bursts into laughter as it bops the chirr on the nose. She watches, smiling, as the chirr examines it, giving it the same licking and sniffing as she had the other ball. The chirr bats it with her paw, and it rolls back towards Zaniel. Zaniel proceeds to roll it in circles as Maeko is doing so that the circles entwine and watches with sparkling eyes as the chirr crouches and watches both balls, not sure which to chase. Zaniel smiles excitedly, happier than she has been in a while. "She doesn't know quite what to do!" Zaniel giggles, finding this quite amusing, and her one ear perks towards the chirr, the other cocks towards her new friend. At least, she thinks they're friends. She nearly misses rolling the ball because of her laughter, and it in turn almost collides with Maeko's ball. She manages to pull herself together so as not to miss antoher roll, but she still has a huge grin on her face.
