I read this and knew I had found a kindred spirit; you perfectly described how I came to feel about TXF:

Though now that it is (mercifully) off the air I can temper these feelings with wistful reminiscing about the 'good old days'

I was almost as obsessed with Beauty and the Beast and just as upset over how it ended, but since that show's demise wasn't dragged out quite as long I got over it more quickly.

I was obsessed with Dr. Who too...

I just realized I must have an obsessive personality. :gulp:
