that it has one of the best time slots. My biggest beef is with most of the the shows that are offered (called entertainment) which seems to attract a lot of younger viewers--pulling them away from the good shows. Watching Donnie Osmond get covered in worms and scorpions just isn't my idea of entertainment. As you may have guessed, I absolutely despise these so-called reality shows. I just can't believe that people call it entertaining. Mindless entertainment maybe but I have a difficult time even calling it that. As for the Simpsons--not everybody cares for that show either. Frankly I don't like the messages it sends--and yes I catch the sarcasm. What bothers me the most is that unless one has a well developed sense of humor and/or an average or higher IQ, this sort of humor is wasted. Malcom is funny and, at the very least, it is easy to understand that some of the situations this family gets into can't or don't really happen.

Maybe you are right about the XFiles not being Mulder and Scully anymore. While I hate to have them gone, I would hate even more to have one less show worth watching. IF Doggett and Reyes can start a new story line (any sort of personal relationship would be only a bonus--not needed) I think I would still watch as long as the episodes maintain the high level of suspense, writing, acting, storyline, etc. that we have come to love and expect. I could still watch the show for those reasons and look forward to having something good to look forward to every Sunday evening!
