So they haven't even written the script yet. Good grief. I guess I have to disagree with you on the audience. I don't think all the XFiles fans are or will be in the grave within the next few years. Speaking for myself, I still will go to the movie and drag my hubby along. I do know that a couple of my kids would go to if I asked them.

When I look at the current movie "remakes" I can't help but wonder if there is a huge lack of creativity out there. Many of the movies I have either seen or read about sound stupid and really keep me out of the theater. I would rather stay home and read a good book or go fishing.

About the only time I enjoy a remake is if an actor from the original is recast in the remake even if it's a different character. Even then it needs to be a good thriller or mystery to make me want to spend the time and money.
