is that they will downplay the role of Mulder and Scully (most especially Scully since, unfortunantly, the age bias against "over 35" actresses is stronger than the one against "over 40" actors) and have the plot be something like "Mulder and Scully are kidnapped and new X-Files agents Owen Wilson and Jessica Alba have to go look for them" OR "Scully is kidnapped within the first 15 minutes of the movie and Mulder has to spend the next two hours looking for her with help from Kate Hudson and then M&S are reunited in the last five minutes of the movie".
At least they apparently aren't considering the ultiimate atrocity. . .which would be having M&S portrayed by actors *other* than DD and GA.
LOL, CW. . .I don't think we'll be "in the grave" within the next few years, either. And, yes, I'd rush right out and attend the new XF movie. So I really hope you're right and I'm wrong!
