I am going to disagree with you here IG. The movie had elements of Scullys constant struggle with her religion, to find a happy medium, I wouldnt say she was re-embracing her religion, just trying to find where she belongs in it. She obviously disagreed witht he church elders/admin regarding the boys treatment, and went over their heads. Stem cell research type treatments? Isn't that going against the catholic teachings right there? I don't know as I am not catholic but I it has been my impression the church have not exactly been embracing the stem cell therapies.

I don't want to see them married. Their relationship is far beyond any traditional relationship that we are used too. Them being married would bring them down to our level - and I don't want that. I want them to remain this special couple with a special relationship. I do feel they are very strong together. All the wishy washy back and forth from the series is long gone. I also think CC was playing with our heads with the gradual glimpse into their private lives. It wasn't proven that they were living together till half way through the movie - the first time Scully went for Mulder, it looked as though she was visiting. Thats just CC being an ass!

I loved all the little things, even though they were on different pages, the little hand squeeze came across stronger than any mushy words could have.

I have to get back to work now, but will add more tonight when I have more time!
