KM, KS and B3 spread out taking flanking positions around Rabid's split level library. There is a tremendous crash as the TV comes through a picture window just above KS. The assassin dives for her life.

A beautiful if overly thin young woman is outlined for a second in the shattered window. Her blond hair whips in the wind and her kicky outfit is molded to her frail body by the driving rain (yes, it is raining too). Then a rabid Rabid appears behind the woman and yanks her bodily back into the dark recesses of the Library.

"Ack," the young woman manages to say before she disappears from view.

"What the heck?" KS says exchanging a look with KM.

"It's worse than I thought," KM states. "B3, take a memo. All lawns must be mowed to within 1/16th of an inch of 3 centimeters upon penalty of mandatory lawn ornamentation...that is all."

"What the heck?" KS remarks again.

"Lawn care is vitally important," KM says. "This is why I am Mayor and you are not...I can multitask...and now...let's go see if we can settle Rabid down..."

MEANWHILE...ON THE FAR SIDE OF TOWN...

JD is stretched out on top of his newly build doghouse. He is wearing goggles and headgear and firing an imaginary AK47 into the air..."Rat-a-tat-tat-tat...Rat-a-tat-tat-ta...ARRRGHH...Curse you Red Baron!" He shakes one fist in the air..."Curse you!"

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE LIBRARY....

KS, KM and B3 walk up the spiral staircase that leads to Rabid's crow's nest lair. KM raises one hand to knock on the door but before she can connect the door is yanked open. Rabid blocks most of the view of the interior but it is obvious that she has two naked people handcuffed to her wrought iron bed. One of them is the frail blonde woman and the other is a pale and well-built man.

"Uhm...Hey, Rabid," KM says nervously as she bobs and weaves in search of a better view of the couple in bondage. "So...Buffy ended? And you've had a bit of a shock?"

"Cookie Dough," Rabid grinds out between clenched teeth. "She said she was "unfinished"...it was the END...and she should be finished...THIS is Season 8 all over again...this can't keep happening..."

"So? Are those FOX executives you have tied up in there?" KS asks casually as she examines the ragged edged nails on one hand.

"FOX...execut...tives...?" Rabid's eye takes on a decisive if maniacal gleam. She smiles...it is a wicked, non-librarianish smile...and slams the door in the faces of the assembled Shippervillians.

"Uh-oh," KM mutters and then she cocks her head to glare pointedly at KS.

After a moment or two KS looks up from her study of her fingernails and says, "WHAT?"

Rabid/Raeann
determined to keep Spike and Buffy tied up until she comes to her bleached blonde senses and worships him...and also determined to do something about the sequel happy people at FOX TV. Is that so very wrong?
