"Bend yer knees...square yer shoulders...line up the shot...and...," kande says to herself. She launches the ball toward the basket. Swish! It grazes the bottom of the net. "Dang it!" Kande jumps up and down in frustration, then chases after the ball as it goes behind the bleachers.

"...so CW will knit a birthday cake and I will pick up the Ben & Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice cream." KS checks off an item on her extensive list for kande's birthday bash.

Bubba comes back into the gym after showering. He has a towel wrapped around his head, and he's wearing his kande's klub uniform. He whistles a popular alien tune as he begins to clean up. With the flip of a switch, the bleachers begin folding into the wall.

"Hey! Hey!" screams kande, still looking for the basketball behind the bleachers.

Bubba gives KS a surreptitious thumbs-up. KS acknowledges this with a barely perceptible nod. An evil smiles crosses her face. At last! All of kande's birthday presents will be hers! "HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" She stops as everyone looks at her. Oops - didn't mean to laugh out loud. "Er...I just thought of a funny joke."

"Tell it!" says Kenamom, whipping out her tax book to figure the joke-telling tax.

"I forgot the punchline. But I know it's really funny." KS wipes her brow. Whew! Barely got out of that one. Now...back to dreaming about how she's going to claim kande's birthday as her own.
