"Once you buy a property, you can start putting on houses," KS informs the group as she rolls the dice.

"Huh?" CW wrinkles up her brow. "I've never heard of those rules."

KM, who has appointed herself the banker, snorts. "That's because they're HER rules."

KS looks affronted. "It only makes sense. In real life, if you buy one piece of property, you don't have to wait until you can purchase the whole block until you put up a house."

Kande frowns at her sister. "If you can't play right, don't play at all."

KS half-rises from her chair. CW immediately shields herself by hiding behind Kande. Rabid manages to slide beneath the table. KM cringes and covers her head with her fine book. Kande looks around at the group in disbelief.

"For Pete's sake, what are you so scared of?" She turns and scowls at KS. "Sit down! If you keep scaring them, somebody's going to pee their pants and then I'm going to make you clean it up."

KS adjusts the blackjack in her back pocket. "Something was poking me in the back," she mumbles in apology. "And you can't make me do anything I don't want to."

KM shakes her head. "I can't wait for you to go to London to the politically correct class."

"Er, I already went," KS informs her. "See my certificate?"

They all stare at KS, then peer at the certificate. It reads: Kande's Sis, abolutely the most politically correct person on the face of the earth, no, the entire universe! No one could be more politically correct! Nosirreebob! Voted most popular and best-looking in the group! The favorite child of her parents! Yadda, yadda, yadda.

"Wow, KS, you must have really changed," says CW in an awed (and naive) voice.

"Yeahhh....right," Rabid adds skeptically.

"My God, what did you do to those poor people?" Kande screeches.
