Yeah me too. May they be the first of many! Though it has been noted that mass defections will occupy manpower, as each "surrenderee" will need to be checked for weapons, and found somewhere secure to stay.

China seems to be politically quite inactive on the world stage, instead focussing on it's economic power, with it's weird hybrid economic structure making it seem less like a superpower than the US.

Would numbers be sufficient in and of themselves in this scenario? He who can lob the biggest bomb from furthest away with the best odds of hitting the target wins, IMHO.

Though it has to be said the US were mightily embarassed at being caught out on that one, and by the failure of the tech to be destroyed by the crew.

Though it's failure to impose it's will there might be seen as an argument against that, as might all the assorted vetoes held by other countries.
