Participants in a demonstration (a relative of mine was envolved) were told to touch their index finger tip with their thumb and visualise a solid steel ring. There were around ten steps in the visualisation process that led up to the steel ring.

These participants had a partner who then had to try and pry the finger and thumb apart. In most cases the partner was not able to seperate them even tho no force was used to hold the ring together.

Can you now consider Chi to be vivid visualisation which envolves strong concentration of your mind...
