((ooc - ok, let's try this again, shall we? heh. Anyway, I'm pretty much gonna use the same post as the one Briar double-posted with cos I don't feel like typing a new one >_< But the end will be a bit different, and I have to add the stuff about Huttser...so read it again, heh.))

Her legs were still and her feet had horrible cramps from sitting in the position she was in for so long. This posistion being crouched behind a large bush on top of uneven rocks and grass.

Sadie had witnessed the whole experience through the gaps in the plant she hid behind. She had just been out on a walk, once again on one of her little 'adventures' -- running temporarily away from the castle. Getting away, it just let her clear her mind, forget about her duties of being in the royal family.

As soon as she saw the mysterious men and woman on the horses - for she had seen them first - she ducked behind the bush. They looked like they were chasing someone, and they moved so fast. It scared the little girl.

And then Sadie spotted the two victims, going so much slower on their weary mounts. A young boy -- he looked familiar, and a man whom she was sure that she had never seen before. They looked tired, as did the poor animals they rode upon. It was clear they were being gained on by the frightening men and woman, and quickly.

They events that took place could have been the worst thing Sadie had ever witnessed. She had never seen someone...well, die before -- and this death wasn't really the peaceful type, either. All the bloodshed, the horrible sounds...Sadie wanted to leave, to look away, but she couldn't tear her eyes away from the scene if she tried. It was like she was in a trance.

She thought both of the two had passed, but then...just maybe, was the boy still alive? Should she go to him? Could she? And now, what is this? A wolf had seemed to appear. For a moment icy fear bolted through Sadie's body, but then she realized that it seemed that the aminal was helping the boy. She was frightened, but her female maternal instincts took over. She slowly - so slowly - stood from her position and crept a few steps towards the boy, hoping he was still alive. She only took a few steps, afraid of what she would see, what she would discover, and then stopped, as if paralized by what she saw in front of her, now in full view. She wanted to help, she couldn't help. Couldn't or wouldn't? Sadie, again so slowly, pulled off the light green sweat that had covered her bony shoulders. A few more steps forward. She extended one shaky arm, the sweater grasped in her hand, offering it. It was obvious he couldn't take it, but she wasn't thinking straight. The only thing that went through her mind was that her garmet could stop the bleeding, it would stop the bleeding. She felt sick. A nightmare come to life.

((ooc - ok, hope that works. If you didn't notice, my writing is kinda weird today...but in a good way, I think. I'm taking after Francesca Lia Block -- AKA my favorite in the whole world ever ever ever writer. -worships her-
