Subject: The new Miss NC prep team is awesome and did an awesome job with Taylor. But they've got a lot of work to do to get this new girl ready for Miss America, but I am excited to see what they do with her. She has a lot of potential and with the right song, could at the very least bring home another talent award. If you could choose a song for her, what would you choose? Subject Author Date What's wrong with the one she sang? The Miss NC Prep Team should really have very little to do each year. The winner just beat everyone in a very competitive state. The only thing that needs to be developed is wardrobe if she needs or wants it and thankfully NC has vendors ready to assist in making the trip to Miss America with everything she needs. No name 15:25:49 07/11/24 Thu The new Miss NC is truly a well-spoken and very attractive woman. But…she does need a new song. Her voice is not controlled enough to sing “And I am Telling You”. She was very pitchy and ended up screaming at points. She could easily win talent at MA…but with a song that best suits her voice capability. She certainly wears clothes well…the photos I’ve seen are great. But…she needs to lay off the heavy lip gloss. She has the most important thing mastered…she speaks beautifully and can think quickly on the spot. I don’t know her personally at all but the girl is beautiful in a way we haven’t seen in quite sometime. She’s elegant and she’s very intelligent and you can determine that from her conversations and interviews. As to the talent .. she won at state so she was good enough to beat all the rest of them and she has plenty of time to prepare and become even better. If she doesn't stay in school she's not eligible because she and her parents aren't NC residents. They reside in Washington state. So she has to stay in school.
