Wills, you sanctimonious freak. Passing judgements on other clubs is quite a hoot when one considers that history will clearly identify that Canterbury's treacherous and underhand actions is what finally killed off Rugby League.

Even the deceitful way that Cowley and Anderson went about their business has caused many fairminded Dog's fans (of which you aren't one) to distance themselves from the action of those two revolting creatures....But not wimpy Wills - he says "oh the poor dears of players needed more money in case they got injured...and they don't have a long career....and SL was great for the game...etc"

Wake up idiot. Canterbury's actions were what legitimized SL. And where has it gotten us? The game being played throughout the world? All of us rivetted to TV watching Moscow play Beijing? Kids thoroughout all countries dying to grow up as RL stars? NO - in fact, we have a dying game which will soon be overtaken by RU and most certainly is being (or has) been overtaken by Aussie Rules. And what did Canterbury get out of all this? Blood money - money so as to dig themselves out of the red and all the embarrassment asscociated with being a lowlife club. Now what do they have? Lack of success (except for their incessant boasting and self delusions), an ugly and dangerous batch of fans and freaks like Wills to act as thie apologists.

The differnce between you and I, Wills, is that I played football and I'm certain from your posts you never did. Secondly, in all posts I've encountered on the web, yours have been the most vicious particularly when you discuss Manly. So heres's a haiku for you:-
Deadshytes and nymphs
Missiles fly freely
Clouds show red
Screams rent the air
Canterbury is alive and unwell
