It's you and I against the world and together we're unstoppable

The air was starting to lose the bitter chill that it had carried all through the winter months and was instead holding a crisp briskness that merely energized the beautiful young girl who was out and about more. The wind tossed around the bare tree's, though there were starts of buds on each of the straggly branches which gave proof that spring really was on its way. The time had passed quickly, the only sound filling the air was the sound of footsteps as they jogged down the gravel path through the woods and back around the large pond in the middle of the park only to go back down to the woods again. The fresh scent of growing grass and the world coming back to life after the winter hibernation hung in the air like a comfortable blanket and she was all about embracing it. Barely even winded - even though she was out of field work she was still in excellent shape - she turned to jog backwards, grinning at her now decently-long timed boyfriend. "Come on, old man, you going to have a heart attack or something?" Her words were playfully mocking, they had always been one of those couples who ragged on each other mercilessly but it was one of those things that they loved and played on. She stuck her tongue out as she glanced over her shoulder to make sure she didn't run into a tree or anything but mostly she was focused on him. It was obvious how happy she was to be back outside and clad in a pair of jogging shorts and a hoodie - she was comfortable and content.
