Subject: So Adult and AA is kind of in the same caliber as Trad sets? A way to compete at a big event but the serious competitors are in the 18 and over age groups? That make sense and why not let them dance this may be a way for them to get a recall or a high placement that they couldn’t get in regular comp!
In reply to: Thanks 's message, "Help me here- Adv. Adult, is this both open and prelim dancers, therefore qualifying for NANS? Can you WQ? Is there an age requirement, ie over 22? I’m confused one year dancer is competing in over 22 and next advanced adult? Can you go back and forth?" on 15:31:18 07/05/24 Fri

  • To “here’s a question” -some dancers have recently WQ’d and now are in AA with much less experienced dancers? Why go to AA?? To place or win? Doesn’t seem right? Why not over 25 OC group, leave the Adult comps to those that haven’t danced in 5+ years and/or truly “adult” dancers. Just seems sad and another way to get money. • These dancers don't want to enter Adult Championships but feel this is their only option to remain competitive. These dancers would love nothing more than to compete against dancers their own age and have world qualifying opportunities. -- Much more inside, 23:16:19 07/05/24 Fri
  • Higher standard good for everyone see inside -- Saddened by your judgement, 11:11:21 07/06/24 Sat
