Subject: Arrival on Lavana...

The male touches down on vaguely familiar earth gracefully, his tail coiling behind him and letting the silvery blade glint in the subdued sunlight - a warning to any watchers. Korats may be average Lavanians, but it is a fool who underestimates them. Creamy fur rustling in the warm, heavy breeze, Akartis snaps his narrow muzzle around in an alert searching motion. He scents the air carefully, gauging the distance between himself and the clatt swarm nearby. They are a constant danger, though one he isn't overly used to on Terole. Pale grey-lavender orbs, matching the hazy sky overhead, take stock of his surroundings. He is in a small scoop of fertile earth, with steep slopes rising just south, only a few hundred meters away. However, as he looks northwards, he can't help but sharply inhale at the view. Streamers of peach-coloured sunlight highlight sloping forests of dark green trees, a few Kusani trees identifiable by their golden crowns. Even this far off, he can feel their music tugging at his soul, running through his blood. Beyond the expansive, shadowy forests that look cleaner than anything he's ever seen on Penyns before, he can dimly see the great water of the inland sea, the name of which escapes him for the moment. Then, yes, he is on Penyns, and on the northern slope of the Crodbva mountains. He takes another quick look south, before reverting to the Lavanian word sreki-wird instead of southwards in his mind. The spires of the Crodbva arch sharply towards the sky, and only past those jagged teeth does the range become more rounded and soft against the horizon. With an anticipant grin, the Korat turns to wait for his good friend, and the Khaudar accompanying them.
