Brute started as his twin prodded him in the shoulder, ivories refocusing on her instead of his mother. Somehow he was fairly sure that telling his sister, or any of his siblings for that matter, what was going on within his mother's mind wasn't the brightest idea. However, he sensed her anger at his lack of closeness to her and felt the need to devulge at least al little.

Her God is projecting hurtful images into her mind.

He refused to acknowledge Firez as his God. He would not acknowledge the God that was slowly taking his mother from him. Of course, even in his anger he understood the reasoning behind it. Maybe when he was older he would get over it. His mother had broken an ancient law of her people after all. But was that really a reason to break her like this? Ivories flickered back towards his mother, taking in her shallow breathing with worry...
