She and the foal were safe, for the most part, it seemed. Star glared with growing hatred at the man responsible for all this trouble. Instinct prodded the stallion into the open, heedless, or unaware, of the danger this posed. Star pressed against the fence, calling to his mare as he assesed the arena for escape routes.
