First off, I wrote a big long letter then it got erased and I'm annoyed I have to write it all over again!

Second, what was first on my erased letter, was another scenario of how they could get Will back. Skinner fiddled with the adoption. He put Will in a sort of baby witness protection program. He gave him to someone he knew, who are taking care of the baby until M&S can come get him. Skinner's last scene, entering Kersh's office, reeked of doom. Maybe Skinner dies. His last great gift to M&S is giving them their son back.

I read where CC said M&S have a "huge emotional burden" to carry now with the loss of their son. I could never imagine what it would be like to really give away or lose a child. There's so much hurt in the real world, CC, can't we at least have happiness in the fake world and let them be a family?

I loved how Mulder called CSM a fossil and when CSM asked if Scully wanted to sit on his lap. That was creepy and gross and made him even more evil. It was great how he died, but they killed that poor old Indian woman!

This whole magnetite killing supersoldiers is kinda funky. I now realize how scientists in certain fields cringe at the twisted use of their science in science fiction. Magnetite is just iron oxide. Fe2O4. It's supposed to hold something that kills SS??? It's everywhere, including those sandstones (often found in alluvial and marine sand sediments) but not just in these remote places and it's in the dirt that Knowle (and Terry O'Quinn) walked on, they could just as easily gotten sucked downward as they did horizontally. Maybe they call this magnetite but it must be some funky otherworldly metal that came from one of those spaceships. In my mineral handbook, in it's list of 5 or so of the best large deposits, it lists Wyoming. William is there...any connections. Probably not.
