I think that trust is the feeling that makes you give up your doubts. Wouldnt u agree?
If this is true, then what is it that gives you the feeling of trust.
That makes you trust a specific information, even though you cannot prove that this is right?

Could trust come from the possibilities that one has to check whether a certain source of knowledge is good or not and whether that source of knowledge is transparent enough in order to be taken as trustworthy?

What makes a human trust?
