I'm not sure if this was national news or local, but I remember once a woman was on television complaining that hurricanes were never given black names... LOL. I don't understand how we are ever expected to make it as a nation with racist hurricanes!

But yeah, we should all pray for them. Someone told me yesterday that its about the strongest in a semi-century or something like that??? That's awful... I used to enjoy hurricanes when I was younger living in Florida and North Carolina, but I certainly never went through anything this strong. The worst was Dennis/Floyd in 1999. They were like 8 days apart and dropped so much rain that half the state was flooded. We went to town the day after Floyd and it was one of the most amazing things I'd ever seen. Water levels were up to second floors and above roofs in some places. INSANE.
