Lake Michigan does have wonderful beaches. I live on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan in a town named St Joseph. I too am in the beautiful SW part of the state. Bill & I like to watch sunsets from the bluff & walk on the beach. We can see the lighthouse on Silver Beach from the bluff. I am a lighthouse fanatic so for me that's pretty kewl! On the 4th we watched the fireworks over the Lighthouse...that along with the lights from boats bobbing in the water made it an awesome display. Don't tell me you were here in my area or town...cuz I would have loved to meet ya! -- BCR AOL Alumni Board
