We got up at 4am Sat, to catch the 7.25am flight from Syd to Auck. On arrival there, we were picked up and driven 4 hours to the resort where the presentation was made. We arrived there at 5pm NZ time, pre-dinner drinks started at 6pm, we were 1/2 hour late. Had a great night, Craig was congratulated by everyone, even though he had only ever met 3 people prior to the event. We partied till 4am Sun (NZ time), got up at 9am for breakfast (Craig muchly hungover) drove back to Auckland (5 hours cause we stopped many times). Freezing cold, wet evening. Went out for dinner, came back to Sheraton Hotel and passed out in huge bed (could have fit at least 5 peeps). Got up at 8am, walked to downtime Auckland, had breakfast, back to hotel (uphill into 300 knot head winds) to catch cab at 11.30am to take us back to airport for return trip. Flight delayed for 1 hour. Got home at 5.45pm Syd time.

Whew!! never want to make a trip like that again. I now have a sinus infection and it feels like my head is in a bubble. But all worth it to see Craig acknowledged for the work he does.
