Having read all the above thread, I felt I had to comment on what is going on. Obviously, given the rules, no Camb dancer can possibly amalgamate, so that is not an option. Whether or not the TC chooses to enter the remaining dancers at Warwick is up to them, but I really cannot see what harm it can possibly do. Bristol never send a whole team to Warwick, because of availability of couples/readiness etc, yet they go and use it as an experience. There is also no reason why the couples in question cannot just enter the opens.....

I was quite shocked to read the comments here about the decision made, firstly because it appears one person's decision is affecting others' right to dance, but also because such grievances are being aired openly. I am a complete outsider, no longer a student but eager for the circuit to go from strength to strength - surely this isn;t the way forward?

I hope CDC sort it out to everyone's satisfaction, but please, I don't think its fair to have such a conversation up on this board. I would personally be very upset if I were the person whose decision was up for discussion.
