This is very interesting, but from what I understand Roger was pretty much 'mangled' and wrapped in cables and thingsin the wreckage. It couldve been a multitude of objects and jagged metal parts that cause a puncture wound.

Or was the story of Albert Juhl emptying a chamber in Buddy's pistol a made up story to cover an accidental firing up? Hmmm I think its a possibility. There are two possible things to consider with this. An exhumation of Roger Peterson. We could be fortunate and find a relatively good condition corpse, like with the Big Bopper. Enabling an examination to see if there is any signs of a gunshot. Or maybe looking at the overnight bag of Buddy Holly...I'm not sure where it js now, I know Bill Griggs had it. Would after all these years, there still be traces of gunshot residue on the part of the bag nearest where the gun was kept? I'm not sure how long residue/particles would last for, but if its a possibilty, it may be worth looking at.
