Zidane felt the whole group around him jump forward, every one of them in battle position.Whatever Seymour had changed to, it was huge and resembled a rhino that had been exposed to some sort of radio active chemical. Zidane stopped and gaped at it,but only for a moment because he was about to attack.
Somehow Seymour must have known about Aurie, for the radio-active-rhino turned all his attention to the boy,who was leaning on Shep for support.He would have gotten him to except for Shep had then let Aurie fall and took the blows himself.
Zidane almost cried out as he watched in horror as the Seymour-creature attacked Shep with a magic and physical attack all as one.Shep took the blows hard, but somehow managed to stay on his feet.Though barely hanging on,the boy lifted a beautiful translucent emerald and violet shortsword and hit Seymour with all the enegy he had in him.The shortsword seemed to also serve as a summoners staff,for as it made contact with Seymour,an enourmous white alicorn-like creature exploded where Shep had swung.
It had beautiful pheonix wings and it spred them,causing flames to sparkle inches from them.The alicorn-creature was white with a long mane and tail that was bowed into tails.It reared, fire red nostrils flared and eyes glowing,and as it's hooves hit the earth, a round ball of crystally emerald-violet formed around Seymours middle and then exploded into flames of purple and green.
That's when Zidane did cry out.Even Tidus had dropped his sword.Seymour shrank back in pain and shuttered.Shep was apparently strong,even though blood was gushing from a cut above his brow,blinding him with red,his face ashen and black from Seymour's attack.
"That'll teach you to mess with my friends!" Shep cried and his voice rose and fell like an escalator,like he was drunk.
Zidane then glanced at Auron,"Well,wasn't too hard,"Zidane bowed and motion forward,"You have the honors,my friend!"
Without hesitation Auron calmly neared Seymour,who had transformed back into himself,raised his sword, and finished him once again.
Yuna had raced to Shep and placed a tender hand on his forehead,but he tore her hand off of him,telling her he was fine.
"Wow,you really know how to fight,Shep!"Rikku commented and Shep gave a fragile smile.
A loud voice interupted them all and they turned to see who it was, though none were suprised by the voice.A tall man came striding near the group.It was Wakka.Zidane was the first to notice someone new,"Who's that girl?"
