hi kyla and everyone else. i do appreciate your concern but actually such thoughts and feelings did not arise. As you say: Dave's enthusiasm is so easy to respond to, isn't it?!"

In contrast to him and to many others, I have not related easily to most aspects of this work, especially (being mostly a loner) not to live group encounters such as the WDW or retreats. For the most part, they have not been fun or delightful or a relief for me tho I'm grateful for the opportunity to have connected with numerous wonderful people on a one-to-one basis at these events.

There are contributions i could have made to some discussions (such as sharing my discovery of the high art of ritual cuticle picking via a nailclipper, to the "List of formerly unnoticed ways to avoid the pain of the core/conscious wound") but truly i could not see the point of doing so (other than to be and to be noticed as a participant). Maybe this is relevant in that i don't see the point of doing most *anything*. but does there indeed need to be a point???? does life have a point? (and more particularly: does MY life have point)? do the flowers i love have a point? the classical music i love? the humor? no, they do not have a point but thank God (Goddess/Being) for them. They are all vitamins for the soul and i guess the simple sharing of "how-it-is-over-here" is also a vitamin for my spirit and for your spirits, without a "point" and without needing one. If i hear from any of you that you have found some value in this posting, i will be inclined to speak up more often. In any case, even when i'm silent, i'm aware that this forum is here and that is a comfort to know--thanks, Kyla, for the reminder to check in more often!
