• Whoever is in charge of ticketing spends his free time at Games Workshop or playing Dungeons and Dragons and loves concocting different scenarios to challenge people with. Go to ticket office, shout the magic word through the slot in the wall, while casting your double bonus hit point card and rolling a 16 across three dice and the ticket is yours.   • Yes, because that's equally nonsensical. You're talking about 2 extremes which were both (let's be kind) odd decisions.     • Here's my gripe, 12.5 k capacity for a top 8 PL club. They are having a laugh on us. If they had a decent ground we might get a better allocation. They've been in the PL long enough to improve their facilities, but no they would rather spend their money on players wages.           • I think this is a slightly strange approach Senor. In the main surely, having a ground with a small attendance is viewed as a negative. We do not see the mega-crowd club grounds as our natural bedfellows do we? Ok, I get that maybe you are peeved if you will struggle to buy a ticket; but as I understand it, they are obligated to give us a certain percentage anyway. Having a go at their owner for not forking out for a bigger ground to enable an away supporter to attend, seems, well, a bit weird.             • We're talking about a business turning over more than £150m a year. My gut feeling is that with something that size, they would have done the commercial analysis to see whether or not it would be financially prudent to extend the stadium. To repeat an often stated comment - ticket reciepts are a fractional percentage of total revenue - at last count about 6% of revenue for Bournemouth.             • I don't understand why people think my argument weird. It's not a weird argument further down the pyramid in non league. This is the most prestigious domestic league in the world, and thry are no new comers to the scene. There should be a minimum capacity for the PL. I'd set it at 17 - 20 k, probaly the higher end, and perhaps give clubs 3 seasons to comply. As stated by SOS, they probably haven't got around to it because the broadcasting revenues more than compensate.               • I'm kind of inbetween both sides of the 'your arguments weird thing', but i have to say that it would be absolutely disgusting, and non competitive to put a minimum capacity requirement. Some clubs simply don't have anywhere near the fanbase to require that kind of infrastructure. We've got a newly built premier league ground in the league this season with a lower capacity than you're suggesting.
