Subject: Whoever is in charge of ticketing spends his free time at Games Workshop or playing Dungeons and Dragons and loves concocting different scenarios to challenge people with. Go to ticket office, shout the magic word through the slot in the wall, while casting your double bonus hit point card and rolling a 16 across three dice and the ticket is yours. I struggle to think of any other business with such variable and opaque pricing practices. Do other clubs do it like this?

  • Hmm. And yet people complain when they do away with loyalty point thresholds (e.g Chelsea away) (NT) -- You can please some of the people all of the time, Thursday, March 27, 02:24:18pm (NoHost/90.213.242.75)
  • Yes, because that's equally nonsensical. You're talking about 2 extremes which were both (let's be kind) odd decisions. If they'd done anything in the middle (ie, use loyalty points but don't be insane with the staggering, and not leave yourself enough time to send the tickets out), hardly anyone would complain, and those that did would fit firmly into your wild generalisation (NT) -- Same Old Story, Thursday, March 27, 02:32:57pm (webdefence-pool-02.cluster-lonb.forcepoint.net/85.115.53.202)
