There were sensations of appreciation and what not, but nothing else, no real emotional attachment. Why try to pretend? These were stories told in fairy tales and romance novels. It was not necessary to spend extended periods of time together or to reproduce… all one had to be able to do is tolerate the other individual’s company. ‘Either way, it has something to do with the coin.’ Of course, Audrey knew damn well who what when and where.
