So long as he didn't have to fight his way back into clammy, clinging wetness! Replying with a remarkably pleasant "Grazie!" as he honestly did appreciate the opportunity to warm up and dry off -not that it wasn't owed to him for single-handedly saving the female from herself- the invitation to explain himself stopped him dead. Didn't look like the knight in shining armor type? Just what was that supposed to... Ah well, no sense in taking offense, as he would have to admit to being far more comfortable playing the dragon's role. Without a doubt, he put more damsels in distress than he rescued from it. Ha! Confidence rekindled by the thought, he abandoned his defenses, retrieved and readied a towel, ditched the rest of the icy garments without a care that the door was still cracked -no modesty required and no objections, certainly, if any one offered him company now!- and sank into the heat of the waiting bath, sending his answer out to Zeth. "She didn't really want to die... Maybe she thought she did... but she didn't." Still didn't explain why he had found it in himself to care.
