Saalem- basically, it can ward off evil spirits, summon helpfull ones, and teach one new abilities and powers. a Dragon can not use it, and Norika is not mage-gifted, thus has no need for magical power. she also has no need for physical power, being a Bard, and thus never used it. we would have used it to ward off the Emerald Dragon, but he is not connected to the Sanctuary any more. Norika- i will let you take it if you caqn help us.... at least hide us until night-fall..... Saalem can turn her scales a deep violet which will blend to the night sky, we can escape then..... we just need a place to hide until then..... please.....
