Yes. Similar to how the Cape Georges and other nice yachts are done, but not as neat. A really nice job could be done if one was willing to dissasemble the interior, but I am not that ambitious!

I lived in Anacortes for two years. I did not like it there. I suppose it is a little more protected, but marinas seem to be dominated by rich yachties from Seattle and Vancouver. On the other hand, Guemes Island is pretty cool, though anchorages are limited and one would have to move around depending on prevailing winds. Of course the other San Juans are drier (Lopez, Orcas, etc.) yet, and there are many more anchorages. The downside is everything is slightly more expensive in the San Juans.
